INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

Shri B. M. Shah College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (BMCPER)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at BMCPER was established in 2024 as part of a post-accreditation quality sustenance initiative recommended by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC serves as a proactive mechanism to ensure continuous improvement in the academic, administrative, and institutional performance of the college.

Vision

To promote a culture of excellence in all institutional endeavours by fostering systematic quality enhancement and sustained development.

Objective

To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

IQAC aims to:

Ø Ensure timely, efficient, and progressive execution of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.

Ø Promote relevance and excellence in academic and research programs.

Ø Enhance equitable access and affordability in academic programs.

Ø Integrate modern teaching-learning methods.

Ø Maintain credibility and transparency in evaluation systems.

Ø Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of institutional support services.

² Development and application of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.

² Dissemination of information related to higher education quality standards.

² Organizing seminars, workshops, and promotion of quality circles.

² Documentation of quality enhancement activities.

² Acting as a nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities.

² Preparing and submitting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC.
